A key component of the GRIT Workforce Program is connecting participants directly to employment opportunities.

Through workforce partnerships and employer relationships, participants may have access to hiring opportunities, workforce recruitment events, interviews, and employment pathways with organizations such as Mountaire Farms, Smithfield Foods, staffing agencies, and other workforce partners throughout the region.

These connections help participants move beyond job readiness and into real employment opportunities that support successful reentry, financial stability, and long-term success.

What is GRIT?

GRIT (Growth, Responsibility, Integrity & Transition) is a workforce development and reentry program that helps individuals prepare for employment, stability, and successful community reintegration.

Available for correctional facilities, county jails, federal halfway houses, and community reentry programs.
